Art has been a constant thread throughout Robin’s life, woven into her earliest memories. Living in New England provides constant inspiration from the nearby mountains, lakes and seacoast. The beaches and salt marshes offer an ever-changing canvas of colors, textures, and patterns that inspire her paintings. Her artistic mission is to convey nature’s profound ability to soothe and heal, both mentally and physically, inviting viewers to experience the transformative power of these natural settings as they connect with her art. Robin is a Signature member of the Pastel Society of America and an associate member of the American Impressionist Society. She has given many demonstrations and workshops all over New England and her paintings have won numerous awards. She has shared her knowledge and love of the pastel medium for many years, and recently opened the Thornhill Art Gallery in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where she shows her paintings as well as artwork by local and national artists.
